Playing Online with Renegade

There are many ways to play online, I personally use GameSpy Arcade, Download it from www.GameSpyArcade.com. I some times play through Xwis which used to be known as Westwood online, (WOL). If you wish to play on WOL, simply load your game as normal and select Multiplay Internet, Westwood Online, Advanced Game Listings. A box should appear saying Log In or Register, (Note: You do not have to register), Just log in with your preferred nick name and enter any pass you like, (Note: Pass must be exactly 8 characters long). There is another way to play online by using a program called RenIP, This program will allow you to connect to all servers online.

 

Anti-Cheat programs

Most servers are renguard protected, This is an anti-cheat program to stop clients from cheating, you can download renguard from,  www.Renguard.com. You do not have to run renguard, but its more fun to run it. By running renguard you will hear new sounds in game, and be able to use commands on some servers.
